AAAS/Science, in cooperation with GE Healthcare and Eppendorf AG, invites young scientists to submit their research essays now to compete for prestigious awards and publication of her/his essay in Science!


1. Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology
2. GE & Science Prize for Young Life Scientists

The EPPENDORF & SCIENCE PRIZE FOR NEUROBIOLOGY acknowledges the increasingly active and important role of neurobiology in advancing our understanding of the functioning of the brain and the nervous system.

The winner of this international prize is awarded US$25,000 and publication of her/his essay in Science.

Submit your essay now! The deadline is 15 June 2010.

The GE & SCIENCE PRIZE FOR YOUNG LIFE SCIENTISTS recognizes and rewards outstanding Ph.D. graduate students from around the world in their work within the field of molecular biology.

The grand prize is US$25,000 and regional prizes are for US$5,000 each.

Winners of the 2009 award include young scientists from the United States, Germany, Japan, and Israel.
