A special focus will be placed on the library's experience in organizing and hosting major national and international events on Open Science and research infrastructures, as well as its contribution to shaping policy dialogues and strengthening global academic networks.
The presentation will also introduce the GCRIS (Grand Current Research Information System) platform and its newly developed AI Assistant. This tool demonstrates how artificial intelligence can enhance research information management, improve discoverability, and support researchers through more personalized and efficient services.
The lecture will be delivered by Mr. Gültekin Gürdal, Head of the Library at IZTECH and an active contributor to the international Open Science community, with leadership roles in ANKOS, OpenAIRE, and the DSpace Leadership Group.
The colloquium will take place on 5 May 2026 at 14:00 in 1st Wing Lecture Hall and online via Zoom. For online participation, registration via link is required. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
